Generic Evista is used for treating and preventing osteoporosis (bone thinning) in women who are past menopause. It is also used to reduce the risk of invasive breast cancer in certain women who are past menopause.

Generic Kytril is used for preventing nausea and vomiting caused by cancer chemotherapy and radiation.

Generic Premarin is used for treating certain symptoms of menopause (eg, hot flashes, vaginal dryness or itching). It is used to prevent osteoporosis (weak bones) after menopause in certain patients. It is also used in certain patients to treat low estrogen levels, prostate cancer or breast cancer.

Generic Rheumatrex is used for treating certain types of cancer, severe psoriasis or rheumatoid arthritis in certain patients.

Generic Synthroid is used for treating low thyroid activity and treating or suppressing different types of goiters. It is also used with surgery and other medicines for managing certain types of thyroid cancer.

Generic Vepesid is used for treating patients with lung cancer and recurrent testicular tumors. It is used in combination with other cancer medications. VePesid is an antineoplastic. It works by stopping the tumor cells from dividing (mitosis), which prevents the spread of certain types of cancer.
